CTS TAXI was born in the early 1980’s when community leaders approached the owners of TopHat Limousines about a need for reliable taxi service. In its first incarnation as Topps Taxi, there were two cabs and two drivers, one driving days and the other driving nights. Business grew and so did the fleet when we acquired the name and phone number of La Crosse Cab. There were two cab companies, then, both under the TopHat umbrella. Topps Taxi and La Crosse Cab merged under the name Community Transportation Systems, better known as CTS TAXI, by 1990, and remains under that name today.
